Brian: Wait- Saint Nicholas is the patron of murderers?
Justin: Sure! And thieves and pawnbrokers and bakers-
Brian: Murders have a patron saint?
Justin: Well, generally he's the patron saint of anybody _in trouble_, and there are legends about how he brought gifts to those in need--usually at night, so no one could see him--hence, the idea of Santa Claus delivering presents on Christmas Eve.
Brian: Sure, to all the good little murderers and pawnbrokers and thieves...
Justin: Brian, I think you're missing the point here.
Brian: Am I?
Justin: The point is, the spirit of Christmas, *the spirit of giving* has spread pretty much worldwide. And millions of people have Santa Claus traditions, and millions and millions of children do believe in him. In Brazil he's Vovo Indo, in China he's Dun Che Lao Ren, on Easter Island he's-

ha! not to worry, it’s on my planner. that list is rehearsals and performances only. i keep it up in my cube at work, not to “remind myself who i am” or anything so profound/cheesy as that but rather so i don’t forget when i have a rehearsal or performance coming up.
